The hits just keep on comin' for Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), also known as "You Lie Guy." He's the member of Congress who blurted out "You lie" during Barack Obama's speech on health care reform on Wednesday night. Things are so bad Wikipedia had to lock his article.

Neda Soltani, a young Iranian girl who was brutally killed in Iran, during the opposition's rally became symbol of rebellion and freedom for millions around the world. People, concerned about the events in Iran are actively discussing Neda Soltani and how she became a voice of the rallly. Now they have created a special Wikipedia page for Neda telling her story.

Is the U.K.'s Filtering of Wikipedia Just the Beginning?

Wikipedia is effectively being filtered for most users in the U.K. since the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) added a Wikipedia article on Virgin Killer, an album from German heavy metal group Scorpions, to its blacklist. This could just be the beginning, however.

In the super-fast world of the Internet, if a story breaks, you can expect the Wikipedia entry for that subject to be updated faster than you can blink. In the case of Tim Russert's sad death on June 13th, NBC contacted other networks and media outlets in an attempt to hold back the news long enough to notify his family vacationing in Italy. Before they knew it, however, it was already updated on Wikipedia.

What won't Google do with its maps? Tuesday, if you went to Google Maps, you would have found a "More" button between the "Map" and "Traffic" buttons. Click on it, and you can, as you see to the left, tick checkboxes labeled "Photos" or "Wikipedia."
