Southbank Centre has announced today the full line-up of concerts for the major Stockhausen festival as a centrepiece of its 2008/09 classical music season. KLANG: A Tribute to Karlheinz Stockhausen will run from 1 to 9 November 2008 and will include UK premieres of several major Stockhausen works and the world premiere of Urantia.

The Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield will present its 24th Annual Festival of Trees from November 15, 2008-January 4, 2009. Approximately 200 trees decorated by local individuals, businesses, organizations, and schools will reflect this year’s eco-friendly theme of “Green Christmas.” Tree designers are encouraged to create trees with the environment in mind.
