Traditionally, in schools and colleges around the world, the "Jocks" will always get the funding, the creative students, the artists, the musicians, will pay for their glory, and this time is no exception. Amidst the dismal preparations for what is proving to be the worst Olympiad since the event was revived in 1896, Boris Johnson, current Mayor of London, alongside his cultural advisor Munira Mirz, has made some rather cryptic references to the rejection of 'cultural value' and upholding 'cultural value'.

Countries with strict social rules and behavioral etiquette such as the United Kingdom may foster drinking cultures characterized by unruly or bad behavior, according to a new report on alcohol and violence released today by International Center for Alcohol Policies (ICAP).
