It's a great thing to be a Philadelphia Phillies fan right now. Your team split the two World Series games in New York, and comes home with a home team advantage. It's a bad thing to be a Phillies fan who uses public transit, however, as this SEPTA strike update shows.

World Series Schedule 2009 Starts October 28

The 2009 World Series schedule has officially been announced and the first game will be played on October 28 in New York. The 105th edition of The World Series will be a best-of-seven playoff between the Philadelphia Phillies, champions of the National League, and the New York Yankees, champions of the American League. For the first time ever, the World Series is scheduled to end in November.
