Victoria Theatre Association has announced the lineup for the second season of the new Universal 1 Variety Series at the Victoria Theatre. The 2008-2009 season brings the popular Off-Broadway hit Alter Boyz to Dayton, along with mentalist Craig Karges and the cutting-edge rhymes of Mayhem Poets.

The five shows include high-kicking fun with a local dance troupe, country western charm with your favorite cowboy crooners, internationally renowned acrobats, a two-man comedic circus act and a new storybook treasure.

Dayton Orchestra Celebrates 75th Anniversary

On Wednesday, May 7, the Schuster Center will be the scene of festivities celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. In celebration, the concerts will feature the works of DPO Founder Paul Katz, Domenico Cimarosa, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Richard Strauss. The Miriam Rosenthal Memorial Trust Fund is the concert sponsor.
