Terrorism Suspected in Russian Train Derailment, 39 Dead

An express train bound for St. Petersburg from Moscow derailed late Sunday and the death toll reached 39 at last report. Terrorism is suspected in the deadly derailment that occured at 9:34 p.m. Moscow time, according to the Web site of OAO Russian Railways. Four of the train’s cars derailed, and investigators are looking into the cause, the statement said.
